Jayapura, 3/2 (Jubi) – Although successfully won three point in its first match in the Indonesia Super League (ISL) after defeating Persepam Madura United with the score 4-1, but the star player of Perseru, Okto Maniani, thought there are so many things must be fixed by the team who is under coaching of Robby Maruanaya.

“We are grateful to win the yesterday first match. But there are so many things in our team that we should be fixed. We still have to learn more. Hopefully in the future, our performance will be much better,” Okto Manianti said to tabloidjubi.com, Monday (3/2).
According to the former national player U-23, one of the things that need to be improved is the players’ stamina. He thought the “Orange Sea Horse’ players’ stamina started to decline in the last minutes of the match.
“Yes, it’s especially the players’ stamina and physic. Yesterday I saw the players’ stamina start to decline in the last minutes. This needs to be fixed, but it’s certainly the coach who is more competent to make an assessment. But it was clear that our winning yesterday is because of the teamwork. That’s the key,” he said.

Perseru Coach, Robby Maruanaya, also admitted that his players’ stamina was decline in the last minutes of match. “Yes, our players’ stamina was decline in the last minutes of match. That is one of the things that we should be fixed. The ISL competition needs a prime stamina in every match. But it was not only me who feel that way yesterday, the rival team also admitted that their stamina was down too,” he said. (Jubi/Arjuna/rom)
