Jayapura, 10/3 (Jubi) – A fire that razed the house of Persipura Jayapura skipper Boaz T Solossa has not prevented him from joining his team in Singapore to play against Home United.
Persipura Coach Jacksen F Tiago said he has seen the video of Home United’s last game when they lost 1-0 to New Radiant from Maldives.
“The players have observed the strength and weaknesses of Home United from the record though it was not much,” said Tiago who played with Home United in 2001.
Persipura will play against the host team on Tuesday (11/3) at the Jalan Besar Stadium Singapore. The ‘Black Pearls’ have undergone training in Jakarta before the match in Singapore.
Tiago said he had a few tricks up his sleeves but the host team have the advantage of the home crowd.
A football observer, Marten Rumere said the match between the two teams would be interesting because they would play aggressively.
“Furthermore, Jacksen F Tiago played in Singapore before, so they must be able to handle the host team,” Rumere said. (Jubi/dominggus a mampioper/rom)
